March 2019 It's easy to get caught up in all the stressors in our lives. A late train, flakey friends, feeling not good enough. When things are just too much and you feel you've got a crazy-ass sandstorm of everything everywhere, it's nice to just take time to take note of the little things you love. The tiny reassuring quirks or habits that keep you grounded and make you feel that little bit more okay. So here is my current list of things I'm really just lovin' in my life and that I'd recommend to pick you up when all else is flat. Here is my Love it List of March 2019... -GIFSWe don't even use words in our group chats anymore. -Shower Jams...No, not like the fruity spreads, I mean like hot water running, your favourite body scrub and the speakers on FULL blast. There is nothing more simultaneously empowering and relaxing. My most recent/favourite playlists include: The Jonas Brothers Kanye West Hurcules Drake Florence & The Machine I also love just finding random playlists like Shower Rap or this one -Little morning scrolls on ShutterbeanThe news is far too depressing, my mornings (and this blog post is inspired by this blog, particularly the I Love Lists also.. -Making making my mornings with This Staple breakfast additionLiterally EVERY morning sprinkled on my porridge mmmmmmf! Thank you Morrisons. and... -My Favourite MugLook how cuuuuuute! -Greys AnatomyWhen all else fails you, knowing that you can end the day with your favourite TV Series of the moment is pure reassurance. Dr Yang & Bailey are my faves. -Accompanied by Jaffa NIBBLES Jelly first? cake first? naah, there's not 'wrong way' to eat jaffa nibbles. Great new McVitie invention. -Dutch plaitsPractical, aesthetic AND I feel like it's a skill to be able to plait your own hair -I literally Laugh out loud at This PodcastIt's great whilst I'm driving, I feel like I'm learning and it is full of witty banter that I could only dream of being able to generate. Thanks Jaz for the recommendation! So I could moan and groan about the flaws in myself and my life BUT right now I am currently going to simmer down those negative vibes with a few little grateful self-care comforts from my current Love list. I hope you might be able to enjoy some of these too.
